Hey, I’m Renu: writer, editor, and ESL teacher based in Charlotte, North Carolina.
I’m here for people and organizations who crave change. For years, I’ve been using my passion for the English language to help others actualize their dreams, from finishing novels and accelerating business growth to learning English.
With a lifelong passion for writing, BBA from Michigan Ross, 1580 SAT / 36 ACT, years of management consulting experience at PwC, and near decade of teaching experience, I know how to make content compelling. I know how to turn skills into opportunities. I know how to make learning even the most daunting subjects fun.
Over the past four years, Work With Renu has:
- Conducted hundreds of consulting sessions spanning freelance writing, ghostwriting, editing, and proofreading services across products and industries including fictional novels, nonfictional books, memoirs, academic papers, college essays, and business copy
- Built and maintained a multi-service online business with unique site domain, using site to keep clients posted on service offerings and contractual updates, showcase writing samples and testimonials, and collect new leads
- Worked with publishing house Digital Maxim to translate ancient classical Indian Tamil Sangam poems into English, then format translated poetry into Kindle eBooks, to increase accessibility of previously obscure art
- Applied English aptitude to teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) to Korean students through Ringle, an online edTech platform geared toward providing English language services to Korean working professionals
- Donated almost $2,000 to the World Wildlife Fund and initiatives aimed at combatting poaching, protecting wildlife, and promoting conservation (goal: 5% of my earnings go directly to wildlife)
